Being a member of ASAS(Assessment in Ankylosing Spondylitis), I was involved in performing the classification criteria for axial and also peripheral spondyloartropathies. We are one of the first centers in Turkey to perform the botulinum toxin injections for spasticity. Therefore, we published the first international study on botulinum toxin injections in spasticity (Comparison of phenol block and botulinus toxin type A in the treatment of spastic foot after stroke: a randomized, double-blind trial. Randomized controlled trial Kirazli Y, et al. Am J Phys Med Rehabil. 1998) . I was also one of the authors for European consensus table on the use of botulinum toxin type A in adult spasticity.Wissel J, et al. J Rehabil Med. 2009 I was involved in many Phase 2, Phase 3 and Phase 4 studies on osteoporosis as principal investigator and also became the national coordinator for some multi-center international studies. The PEARL study was one of the Phase 3 studies for lasofoxifene and our center became one of the mega centers in the world including 105 patients to the study and keeping them in the study for five years. I am a certificated educator for Good Clinical Practice Program. Therefore, I was involved in the organization of many Certified Education programs as a speaker and a organizator.
