Professor Ping Zhu, renowned expert in the field of Rheumatology & Immunology, is the Chief Physician of Xijing Hospital of Fourth Military Medical University, principal investigator of National Facility for Translational Medicine, Vice-Chairman of Autoimmune Branch of Chinese Society for Immunology(CSI), President of Rheumatology and Molecular Immunology Branch of National Association of Health Industry and Enterprise Management(NAHIEM), Honorary Chairman of the Rheumatology and Immunology Committee of the China Medical Women’s Association(CMWA), Vice-Chairman of the 9th Committee of the Rheumatology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association(CMA), Vice-President of the 1st and 2nd Committee of the Rheumatology and Immunology Branch of the Chinese Medical Doctor Association(CMDA), chairman of Rheumatology and Immunology Branch of Shannxi Medical Doctor Association. Professor Ping Zhu has a long-standing interest in the medical education, health care, and scientific research in the field of Rheumatology and Immunology for over 40 years. She was awarded the Military outstanding Young and Middle-aged Technical Expert, Chinese Doctor Award and Special Government Allowances of the State Council. She has obtained a lot of national grants, including National Basic Research Program of China (973 Program),National Hi-tech Research and Development Program of China (863 Program), and Key Program of National Natural Science Fund, etc. As the first or corresponding author she has published 119 SCI papers, including 8 top international journal papers published in Science, Cell metab, CMI, Blood, etc. with the IF≧20, total citation of 3654 times, and 1 ESI top 11‰ hot paper and 4 top 1% highly cited papers. She won the second prize of National Science and Technology Progress twice, first prize of Provincial and Ministerial 7 times. And she was granted 4 international invention patents and 14 national invention patents. As an editor-in-chief she has authored 4 books, and trained 103 Master/PhD students.
