Merav Lidar
I am Head of the Rheumatology Institute at Sheba Medical Center and Professor of Internal Medicine and Rheumatology at Tel Aviv University. I graduated summa cum laude from Tel Aviv University in 1995 and am board certified in internal medicine and rheumatology. I completed two years of basic science research at the Medical College of Wisconsin. My research focuses on familial Mediterranean fever, spondyloarthropathy, and CAR-T-cell therapy for autoimmune diseases. I have authored more than 120 articles and book chapters and currently serve as President of the Israeli Society of Rheumatology (since 2023).
