Kathy (Ying Ying) Leung


Dr Ying Ying Leung (Katy) is a senior consultant in the Department of Rheumatology and Immunology at Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and an associate professor at Duke-NUS Medical School in Singapore. Dr Leung received a National Medical Research Council Transition Award in 2013. Clinician Scientist Awards in 2017 and 2025. Her research interests include osteoarthritis, psoriatic arthritis, and outcome measures. Dr Leung is a full member in ASAS. She has been member of education committee of GRAPPA since 2018 and currently serves as co-chair of the education committee. Dr Leung has co-chaired the outcome measures working group of GRAPPA since 2017. She led the peripheral arthritis working group for the GRAPPA Recommendation Update 2021, and now serving in the steering committee for the 2025 update. Dr Leung is a member of the OMERACT Technical Advisory Group (OMERACT-TAG). She was also a working group member for the International Consortium for Health Outcomes Measurement (ICHOM) for inflammatory arthritis. She was the scientific co-chair in the Asian Pacific League of Associations for Rheumatology (APLAR) from 2021-2023.
